This service is offered to postgraduate students completing Master’s qualifications by minor or full dissertation as well as students completing a Doctoral qualification by thesis. A full draft must be made available for editing.

The first edit includes a full grammar, formatting, and reference edit. You will receive an edited draft, a detailed report of all the work carried out, and a step by step to-do list. The final edit includes a full proofread, direct correction of any persisting errors, and a final reference check. You will receive a corrected Word version of the final draft, together with PDF copies of the final dissertation/thesis and abstract.

Masters by minor dissertation: from two weeks at cost of R5,000.
Masters by full dissertation: from three weeks at a cost of R10,000.
PhD by thesis: from four week at a cost of R16,000.

Research Article Editing & Submission Support
A customised editing service tailored to the requirements of the target publication, with submission support.

This service is offered to postgraduate students who wish to publish their research after graduation, as well as to academic researchers looking to take the stress out of the publication process.

The first edit includes a full grammar, formatting, and reference edit as per the publication’s submission guidelines, editing and formatting of the cover letter (if required), and the completion of all application forms. You will receive your edited documents, as well as a detailed to-do list. The final edit includes a full proofread, direct correction of persisting errors, and a final reference and word count check. Finally, I’ll assist you with the process of submission to the target publication.

Research articles with a maximum length of 5000 words: from five days at a cost of R3,000.
Research Support

Transcription Services
A customisable and confidential transcription service for audio or video recordings.

This service is offered to postgraduate students and academic researchers collecting interview or focus group data.

You may select between a full verbatim (including all verbal utterances) or clean verbatim (excluding non-word utterances) transcription style, as well as between timestamps at set intervals or on the change of speaker. Additional formatting will be accommodated upon request. The audio/video files are securely transferred and transcribed. The output files are returned to you in Word and PDF format.

Two speakers for 60 minutes: from three days (dependent on audio quality) at a cost of R15.00 per minute. Rates for additional speakers, longer recordings, and expedited timelines are quoted per project.

Literature Searches & Database Management
A fully customisable range of services depending on your support requirements.

This service is offered to academic researchers who require support and assistance during the various stages of a research project.

A unique project plan and set of timelines can be customised to suit your needs. Services may include, but are not limited to, carrying out literature searches based on predetermined search terms, formatting references and locating full text articles within reference management software such as EndNote, populating databases such as Rayyan for systematic and scoping reviews, or managing quantitative research databases.

Rates and timelines are quoted per project and include full audit trails of the work carried out.
